Eco Meryl

Meryl Fiber® is a young company which is based on a long history of Rhodia experience and know-how, developing , producing and marketing an extensive range of PA 66 TEXTILE ,BCF ,and FIBER types for the carpet and affiliated industries.
"Eco Meryl, Spare your resource
And shrink your environmental footprint !"
The company specifics are:
• The integrated polymerisation of PA 66.
• Reuse of the heat of the PA 66 poly condensation process in the production process.
• The water-cooling system for the BCF and Fibre production processes.
• The use of the least energy consuming transport systems for raw material entry, which is by rail from within France.
• To minimise the waste factor of the production processes and to use facilitate the unavoidable waste for recycling into granulates.
• To create products of very high quality standards which have in terms of abrasion, resilience and maintenance a long life- cycle.
• The steam applied in the Meryl production process is created by recycling the heat of the poly condensation process and by the waste combustion facilities of the France Northern region.
Meryl Fiber® commitments on sustainability:
• Further minimising of the use of natural resources and develop new ways to become more environmental responsible and pro-active.
• Support and contribute to develop flexible and improved, low energy use, recycling processes for yarns and fibres and carpet re-use programmes.
• Develop strategic partnerships with our raw material suppliers and customers to further minimise the total environmental impact and shrink our environment footprint.
MERYL FIBER® has selected polyamide 66 as raw material for the production of textile filament, BCF and staple fiber.
